Situated in a charming 150 year old homestead, Riverside Café serves inspiring, delicious food, wonderful coffee, and a tempting selection of cakes and brioche baked daily.
What we do
Winner of Wild Tomato magazine’s best regional rural restaurant 2010 and recommended by both North and South and Cuisine magazines, Riverside Cafe is a delightful introduction to the historic Riverside Community (est.1941).
Our delicious and healthy meals such as house-cured salmon, wild meats, home-made frittatas and polenta cakes, are beautifully presented with home-baked bread and our own fresh organic salads and vegetables grown on sight.
We also use fair trade coffee and feature local wines and beers, and organic juices. Vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary options are extensively featured, plus a kids menu.
Dine indoors or out – the café is set in a tranquil country-style garden with lovely mountain views. Children will be entertained with a play area and sandpit just for them.
Discover local artwork with Ché Vincent’s stunning copper creations, and vibrant paintings by Bonnie Coad.
Wander through our spectacular cacti garden or browse through our shop selection of plants, home-made crafts, pickles, honey and jams.
A truly unique and delicious dining experience, not to be missed.
